Violet / Creative Portrait
A curious ghost wanders Coney Island. Then the camera notices.
The concept
This fictional portrait performance follows a curious ghost with the spirit of a Y2K teenager: watching the world, peeking around its edges, and initially passing unseen.
Once the character discovers that the camera can see them, observation becomes a game. The seaside and ageing amusement structures become a stage for playful encounters.
Visual approach
Blue hair, seaside light, direct flash and high contrast connect daylight scenes to darker beach portraits. Architecture frames the character; bubbles and playful gestures keep the apparition curious.
